Indian Political Party Turns To FOSS

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), one of India's largest political parties, plans to go digital, and Linux will play a major role in achieving that goal. BJP aims to build its whole information and computer technology infrastructure on open source platform. The decision could be an internal choice but coming from such a big political party certainly creates a commotion as well as hope in Indian FOSS community for future deployment of open source in schools and administrations.
